i was trying to buy a q7 15Al Darkwing shield for a friend, him being lazy and all (no u) and a guy pms me with "I have the shield, 15AL, but it's blue, that ok?" I respond affirmatively, and he says,"ima log soonz so just put up teh 40k, kkks?" I go,"Whatever", and put up the 40k. He puts up a R11 shield, I decline, he puts up a R12, I decline, then R9, I decline.

He says,"You RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing nub, stop declining, this is r7 good shit"

As mentioned previously, the one where two friends in the same district do the - WTS XYZ 100k, WTB XYZ 100k +30e. For the fun of it i usually pm the person buying, informing them of the great deal they could be getting. Usually it results in a slot on their ignore list, or some verbal abuse, but frankly i don't care.

They're still doing this; I'm staring at the chat in Kamadan wondering how anyone could be stupid enough to fall for it...then I see, "Hey, xxx is a scammer, I got the items but he wont' trade me!"

I'm trying to sell off my Luxon guild with a full hall, since I dont want to run a guild anymore and want to just join one. I get a whisper about how I just stole the guild from someone by hacking them, and if I dont give them the guild they'll report me. they then say something about how thiefs have bad spelling and grammer so I correct them by spelling grammar right, and they ignore me

Sold them for 10 gold, made about 1k profit out of it! -O_

Well i have seen some people trying to sell a req 9 zodiac axe for 100k 20e about two weeks ago, I laughed at him so hard, he put me on ignore...

This may be the wrong place to post this, but since it came up I'll ask:

If people are buying GW accounts for gold, to which account would the payment go? Also wouldn't the mere act of transferring ownership of an acct violate the TOS/EULA, thus resulting in that account being shut down?

i got scammed by account buying >.< i thought if i could buy an account for my bro he would play with me... after i gave him all i got (a chaos axe req either 9/10/ gargash bow/ a nonmax chaos axe and 2k) he gave me a pw like hamburger and i logged out to loggin the account. after it said that it was the wrong pw i logged back in and demanded my money back.... he logged out as usual and after a while i pmed him like 1 week after. he said he'll give all the stuff back but i have to pay him 50k... i was really poor and so he said he would give it out on a dick. my friend reported him as he was smarter than me and i never heard of that guy again

I take screens and report all.
The droks runner i reported where I got a first answer from anet that 'the honesty of the people cannot be controlled by them'... complete story. I kept discussing it with them. As basicly such an answer for me means that such types of scams are allowed and thus I get rich too. Well to make a whole story short.. Never seen him again...
I have a second account where all scammers go to the friendslist

just to see how long it takes b4 they got shut down. Aslong as they come online in a town where I am I keep warning the whole town

max 2 weeks tho
as I never seen a reported scammer open longer than that.
